Fundamentals of Fetal Monitoring

This course is intended for nurses whose hospitals are part of the Illinois Regionalized Perinatal Program and novice registered nurses with at least 2 weeks of fetal monitoring experience at the time of class and work in the hospital setting. Our primary goal is to have the learner able to identify a reassuring FHR tracing and a non-reassuring FHR tracing tracing and the appropriate intervention to each and to complete the course with the basic knowledge of fetal monitoring using the approved NICHD terminology. A Teams link will be emailed to you prior to the day of class. For questions please contact Jen Carius at jennifer.l.carius@osfhealthcare.org.
